Baci Bella: Breakfast Granola

Wake up every morning in Monte Carlo with this naughty but oh-so nutritious breakfast treat

1/4 cup maple syrup or rice malt syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 shots espresso
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup buckwheat
2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 cup hazelnuts

1. Preheat a fan-forced oven to 150 degrees
2. In a saucepan melt together syrup, coconut oil, and espresso. Set aside
3. In a lined baking tray, place oats, buckwheat, shredded coconut, sesame seeds, and hazelnuts
4. Cover dry ingredients with the coffee mixture and mix/toss in the baking tray thoroughly
5. Roast in the oven for approximately 25 minutes, tossing mixture every 5 minutes to assure the syrup does not burn.
6. Serve with fresh raspberries and natural yoghurt…and a little chocolate on the side
