Pantone’s colour of the year is here
More than we bargained for.
We go a little bit crazy for anything to do with Pantone (especially this satisfying gem) and we are just loving the Pantone colour of the year.
In fact, we have double the love, because this year’s colour of the year is in fact two colours. In a day and age where the word of the year can be an emoji, it’s not too surprising.
Pantone 15-3919 ‘Serenity’ and Pantone 13-1520 ‘Rose Quartz’ have been selected, intending to reflect a desire for wellness and society’s shift toward gender fluidity.
It’s a definite improvement on last year’s colour of the year, ‘Marsala’, which basically embodied a hideous brown shade of ’90s lipstick.
