Chocolate egg nests are a super easy and cute Easter treat

Easter is our favourite holiday (or should we say ‘excuse’ to eat chocolate non-stop morning to night). If you need to gain a few popularity points in the office, or are after a cute treat to take to an Easter function give this little recipe a try.

Ingredients

- 250 grams milk chocolate melts
- 1-2 tablespoons of Peanut Butter
- 100g packet of fried noodles
- easter eggs to decorate (we used CADBURY Mini Eggs)

Method

Melt the chocolate and peanut butter in a bowl over gently simmering water. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in the microwave but remember to stir the mixture every 10 seconds or you’ll end up with a burnt mess. Remove the mixture from the heat and add the noodles to the chocolate mixture. Stir to combine.  Next, grab two spoons and make eight little nests on a tray lined with baking paper. Make sure you make a little indent in the mixture so there’s room to pile in lots of Easter eggs. Pop in the fridge for a few hours to set and store in an airtight container until you are ready to serve. Fill the nests with eggs before serving.
