Following a successful opening year in 2016, the Vans Pro Skate Park Series made its return to Australian shores last weekend.

Despite the rainy weather, the park terrain event saw a packed out Manly Beach, bringing together skateboarding pros for the Global Qualifier series.

Tom Schaar took home first place, after completing a perfect run of the transitional concrete course. This has earned him the Australian Global Qualifier title and puts him in the lead for the VPS Men’s Tour Challenger Rankings 2017.

The series is now en route to Brazil, Sweden and Canada before heading to the US for the World Championships.
