These healthy, lemony little bites will love your tastebuds… scarf/concealer/neck-brace be gone. 

RECIPE
2 cups almonds
2 cups fresh pitted dates
zest and juice of 1 lemon
2 cups fresh coconut
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 cup desiccated coconut for sprinkling

1. Place almonds in a food processor and blend until bread-crumb consistency
2. Add coconut. Blend
3. Slowly add dates, one at a time
4. Add lemon zest, juice, and coconut oil
5. Roll out dough between two sheets of plastic wrap until 2cm thick
6. Cut out small love hearts with a cookie cutter or desired cutting tool
7. Sprinkle coconut onto a plate or tray, and place hearts face down on top of the coconut
8. Refrigerate for 1 hour
