If you’ve ever been lucky enough to own a Byredo fragrance, you know that every product is uber luxurious – with a price to match.

But you’ll soon be able to experience the same olfactory sensation without dipping into the funds you’ve saved for your Eurotrip.

Word has just dropped that the Swedish-born luxury perfume brand is teaming up with Ikea to deliver a limited edition line of home scents.

Byredo x Ikea? This is excellent news.

Byredo founder Ben Gorham is the brain behind the newest Scandi collab, which is set to implement a “democratic approach to smell.”

“To collaborate on this idea of ‘invisible design’ with Ikea, getting people to think about smell is very exciting. I enjoy their openness to new ideas and the experimental nature of what we’re doing,” said Gorham of the collaboration.

The news follows IKEA’s recent announcement of an impending partnership with Off-White designer Virgil Abloh.

But you’ll have to wait until 2019 for any sight of the Byredo x Ikea line. For now, you can drown your sorrows into a plate of Swedish meatballs while you tackle your next flat pack.
