THE Central Perk from Friends, that is.

Words by

Sinead Stubbins

"Why now?" you may ask. "Why at ALL?" may be your follow up question. The answer is the epitome of every business decision, ever: because we CAN.

Marking the 20th anniversary of the show's debut, the pop up cafe will emulate the meeting place where Joey, Chandler, Monica, Ross and Rachel sipped coffee, exchanged pleasantries with Gunther and talked about the minutia of the twenty-something struggle from 1994 to 2004.

The cafe will appear in downtown Manhattan at 199 Lafayette Street and will feature all the props and merch from the show. The cafe will open on September 17, so grab a plane ticket, try to remember the words to 'Smelly Cat' and get there!
