An event where you sell stuff straight out of your suitcase is happening in Melbourne
Only got $20 in my pocket.
Selling at markets seems like a great way to get rid of your unwanted goods and make a bit of coin.
But once you factor in the hassle of fitting a table into your car and lugging around IKEA bags of junk, it all becomes a little discouraging.
That’s where Suitcase Rummage comes in.
The event is a mini market where sellers host their stalls out of suitcases.
Suitcase Rummage is known for its vintage items, artwork, bric-a-brac, clothing, books, jewellery, seconds, shoes, records, music, badges, cards, handmade paper and more.
Event-goers are welcome to buy a bargain, swap goods or engage in some haggling.
Melbourne’s next event is taking place this weekend (May 14), so bring along your mum and grandma for a day of shopping.
It’s proven so popular that registrations to sell are already full, but keep an eye out for upcoming dates and pop-ups.
