Royal Doulton x Barber & Osgerby

Bringing good stuff to the table.

Royal Doulton’s 200 year anniversary is bringing a whole lot of good stuff to the table this year, one of which is a collaboration with design team, Barber & Osgerby.

Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby are the designers behind the 2012 Olympic torch and the £2 coin to name a few, so only good things could come from a pair up with Royal Doulton. The collaboration resulted in a new tableware collection, as well as a limited edition matte black stoneware Pipe Vase featuring a black glazed interior.

The collection is appropriately named Olio, meaning a miscellaneous collection of things, and includes tableware, serveware and cutlery. Barber & Osgerby have merged their design aesthetic with Royal Doulton’s heritage of stoneware salt-glazed clay pipes, producing a range that harnesses a natural palette and features exposed stoneware.
