Time to write your list to Santa.

With less than eight weeks until the big man in red embarks on a journey around the world, it’s time to get prepared.

And while Chrissy usually means ample hours trudging from shop to shop, trying to find gifts for your every relative, there’s a new solution.

Melbourne-based giftware retailer, Short Story, specialises in cute paper goods, homewares, jewellery, and practically everything in between. The retailer won GALA’s best gift award in 2015 and its sushi socks are a finalist this year (so you know these gifts are good).

Just in time for your Xmas shopping, Short Story has opened three pop-up shops. There’s a standalone Chadstone boutique that’s open November to February, and stalls at both Myer Doncaster and Myer Chadstone. All will be selling a selection of sushi socks, happy pills and sweetly scented candles.

Long story short (yes, we went there), you’re going to want to pick up multiples for presents and then some for yourself.

If you prefer to do all of your shopping with a glass of wine in-hand while you scroll through Netflix, Short Story is also online.
