First look: Kllo, Flight Facilities, Jacques Renault and Adi Toohey at Infinity Sounds

Well played.

Watching a live show recorded on a phone doesn’t sound super exciting and generally, it’s not.

But Boiler Room and Samsung, who recently teamed up for Infinity Sounds, have smashed our expectations, filming a series of gigs on the Samsung Galaxy S8.

The immersive, audio-visual show was broadcast live from a secret Inner Sydney warehouse, with a stellar lineup taking to the stage. Adi Toohey provided the evening’s opening soundtrack. Then Melbourne duo Kllo brought their house-tinged pop. DJ Jacques Renault flew in from New York for one night only, just for the show. And Flight Facilities headlined off the back of their new single ‘Arty Boy.’

Taking this lineup to a new level were visual artists Nic Hamilton and Dave Mackenzie of Unsigned Studio. Responsible for the boundary-pushing visuals behind acts like Hudson Mohawke and Night Slugs, this isn’t your average concert stream.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 captures low-light performances in high-res, perfect for the club.
