The Jezabels are back for a 2016 tour

It’s going to make for one endless summer.

Summer is looking pretty good for great music, especially great Australian music.

One of those great Australian acts is The Jezabels, returning in February of 2016 with their third studio LP Synthia and national tour.

It’s been seven years since the band first issued their trilogy of EP’s The Man is Dead, She’s So Hard and Dark Storm and four years since Prisoner won them the Australian Music Prize.

But all of that aside, it’s been 18 long months since they last graced our stages with their sweet sounds and there are sure to be some pretty high expectations for their return.

Synthia will be released independently on February 12 with the tour kicking off Friday February 26, heading to all major cities with special guest Eves The Behavior.

But if you can’t wait that long, the band has released the video for six-minute epic ‘Come Alive’ online to give fans a little taste of what to expect next year. It’s worth the wait.

Tickets for the Jezabels 2016 tour will go on Sale November 27 from 12pm.
