Australian rap princess, Tkay Maidza, has unleashed the official video for her certified banger ‘Carry On’.
The clip sees a frenetic blur of cuts and angles spliced together, which is basically a visual representation of Tkay’s wild and contagious personality. It also features the cultural and political icon slash one half of Run The Jewels, Killer Mike.
Speaking about the track, Tkay said: “‘Carry On’ is kind of about me going through troubles and [Killer Mike] acts as a big brother, which is really cool. The song is me saying ‘there’s so many people coming round trying to steal something from me but I just want to have fun.’”
The track is the first single to be released from her forthcoming debut album Tkay, which will be released on October 20.
For the chance to catch Tkay live, she will be embarking on a string of headline shows next month. Tickets for Australian and New Zealand dates can be sussed out here.
