Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Australia has kicked off and we’re already noting down the best hair looks to replicate.
REDKEN 5TH AVENUE NYC is celebrating 10 years as the official hair partner of MBFWA, so we’ve turned to the pros for advice.
At the Justin Cassin show, hair director Marie Cain created a sleek men’s hairstyle that makes rebellion look polished.
We loved it so much we decided to ask Marie exactly how she did it.
Take note:
1. Create a clean, masculine cut that features a tapered neckline, length at the crown and squared, slightly tapered sides.
2. Begin with freshly washed, damp hair. Spread a 10-20 cent piece size of REDKEN Mess Around 10 Disrupting Cream-Paste (for fine hair) or REDKEN Rough Paste 12 Working Material (for medium/thick hair) into your hands. Starting at the front, sweep the product through the hair.
3. Create texture and separate with a wide-tooth comb.
4. Finish with REDKEN Forceful 23 Super Strength Hairspray to create lasting hold and sheen.
