Rihanna makes our day yet again, announces makeup line

It just keeps getting better.

We can’t get enough of RiRi and apparently neither can anyone else.

The Rihanna announcements have been flowing lately – an unfiltered documentary and new Fenty slides have been shared in the last few days alone.

So we’re beyond excited to hear of her brand-spanking new makeup collab with Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, better known as LVMH.

The Kendo division of LVMH helps beauty brands develop and dominate the main stage (not that Rihanna needs much help there). Kendo already has a pretty impressive portfolio, with names like Marc Jacobs Beauty and Kat Von D Beauty under its wing.

It’s rumoured that it took Kendo a pricey $10 million to seal the deal. Yet with Rihanna, every cent is worth it. Her previous collaborations with MAC have sold out and her fragrances for Parlux Ltd. are estimated to produce $75 million in wholesale net shipments. She really does make it rain. (I guess that’s why she needs her Umbrella. Eh? Eh? Eh?)

So far there’s been little in the way of details. What we do know, is that it’s been labelled as a ‘beauty range’ and not just a one-off collaboration. We’ve got our fingers crossed for an extensive range of products that will make us as bad as the BadGal herself.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is set to launch in 2017 in Sephora and other retailers.
