Get the look: temporary pink fix

Jack Morton achieves pink perfection

Sometimes we want our hair colour to be around for a good time, not a long time. We popped into TONI&GUY Georges and looked over Jack Morton’s shoulder as he created this temporary pink colour.

What products did you use to create this look?

First of all the roots were deepened to a dark taupe blonde with a premium line product, Illumina Colour by Wella. The ends were then lightened using Niophlex. This enables you to bleach hair with compromising the condition of the hair. The product is amazing! A temporary water colour dye, Perfecton, also by Wella, was then used over the top for a playful pop.

Is this kind of temporary colour suitable for all hair types?

Any hair type can have a synthetic tone washed over it, although the better condition your hair is in, the more vibrant the colour will be and the longer the tone will hold.

Does your hair need to be a certain colour to achieve this look?

This type of pastel tone will show up much better on lighter, blonde hair.

How long will the colour last?

This particular product, Perfecton, is designed to wash out over 3-5 washes. Perfect for commitment and colour-phobes. If you are looking for something to last much longer, Wella have an array of other products to achieve this.

Could we try this at home?

All of these products used are professional products and only available as an in-salon services. At TONI&GUY we specialise in colour. Come in and see us to avoid the common home colour disasters and ruined bathroom towels!
