Role Description
We are a female-founded and led team based in Cremorne, VIC looking for a Allocator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to our Planning & Operations Manager, we are seeking a passionate and driven individual eager to build their career in a fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in fashion retail to develop their allocation and inventory management expertise. You will play a key role in supporting the Planning team to optimise stock distribution, manage inventory flow, and help drive product performance across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Planning team in analysing sales performance, stock levels, and margin results to inform allocation and replenishment decisions.
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports.
- Assist in allocating stock across retail, online, and wholesale channels to maximise sell-through.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify risks and opportunities relating to stock flow and coverage.
- Maintain product and pricing accuracy within internal systems.
- Work closely with Buying, Warehouse, and eCommerce teams to support product launches and stock movements.
- Assist with seasonal planning and forecasting through data analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to weekly trade meetings with relevant allocation updates and insights.
KEY SKILLS
- At least 1 year experience in an allocation, planning, or retail operations role, ideally within fashion or retail.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A genuine interest in planning and a desire to grow within a scale-up brand environment.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in fashion and retail analytics.
