Role Description
An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and strategic brand marketer to support one of MECCA’s fast-growing private label brands. As part of the MECCA-Maginations team, this 360° role encompasses end-to-end brand planning and execution—from launching new products and driving core range performance, to identifying commercial opportunities, leading NPD initiatives, and executing compelling brand marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end campaign creation and management, in collaboration with Brand Manager, across internal brand teams including Content, PR and Social
- Own and develop strong visual merchandising plans in store, and online
- Work with cross-functional MECCA teams to secure support for key opportunities across Marketing, Digital, CRM, and Education, and track impact across monthly retail promotions
- Plan and deliver brand events and infrastructure involving our Living Lab of Beauty – our community of passionate skincare and beauty experts
- Manage weekly brand performance / trade calendar and weekly trade updates / monthly trade reports to identify wins and misses
- Support in managing invoice processing, monthly marketing spend reconciliation, and management to budget
- Deliver strong customer and product insights, identifying new customer and category opportunities to support brand strategy
- Develop new product launch and product renovation briefs for the Product Development team, including product forecasts and inventory requirements with support of the Brand Manager
- Support Brand Manager in building 12-month strategic marketing and business brand plan including targets and key initiatives by category
- Drive execution and track impact of planned activity through the year across key brand channels
KEY SKILLS
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing and/or commercial related position, product development is also highly desirable
- A good communicator and can build relationships with a network of suppliers and stakeholders.
- Experience in briefing in product development projects and ideation
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Power Point and Excel
- Proven experience within brand marketing including strategy, analysis, campaign planning and execution
- Proven ability to work cross functionally
