Role Description
We are currently searching for an Assistant Business Manager (Assistant Store Manager) to join the team at our Smith Street Surplus Store. This role is a permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week on a Sunday-to-Thursday roster.

Key Responsibilities
- Driving sales to deliver weekly/monthly/annual sales and margin targets
- Constantly delivering a high level of customer service to ensure brand loyalty and repeat business
- Upholding Assembly Label’s retail operational standards and procedures while leading your team by an exemplary personal standard
- Working alongside the National Retail Manager, State Manager and Retail Business Manager to ensure the store’s data integrity and loss prevention strategies are executed in line with business targets
- Provide consistent training and development for all staff while creating a positive and engaging store culture
- Nurture internal relationships with other departments and stakeholders of the business
- Maintaining the highest level of personal and store presentation standards
KEY SKILLS
- You will have the ability to meet sales targets and have proven experience leading and motivating a team.
- You will be able to deliver highly engaging customer service, with strong communication and time management skills.
- We are searching for someone with strong reporting skills, who is enthusiastic and welcoming to feedback.
- You will also possess a clear understanding of the Assembly Label values and product range.
- You will be leading a team of retail stylists so will have the ability to provide staff training and development, focusing on individual opportunities leading to a positive and engaged store culture.
- Through your proven experience, you will show us a keen understanding of both local and international fashion markets.
- You will need to be available to work public holidays, weekends and key retail seasons
