We have an exciting opportunity to join our Cotton On womenswear team on a 8 month MAT cover as an Assistant Buyer focusing on our Jackets / Pants category.
Key Responsibilities
- You will work alongside your category buyer to deliver big ideas and key lifestyle products that align with our brand and DNA.
- You will partner with your category buyer to ensure sales and trend opportunities are identified and deliver on production decision making solutions that offer growth to the category.
- We are looking someone who has excellent communications skills that will enable you represent your Buyers message and strategy; to help deliver on amazing products.
- If you are looking to gain relevant skill and knowledge through ‘on the job’ training while on your way to becoming a Buyer, then this could be next step for you.
KEY SKILLS
- Degree/qualification in relevant field i.e. Buying
- Previous experience in a similar Assistant Buyer role is ideal
- Hands on product development experience, with the ability to manage OTB with a Planner
- Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
- Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
