Role Description
We’re on the lookout for a confident, organised, and personable new team member to help manage new business enquiries and keep our studio running smoothly.This is a part-time role in a supportive, friendly, inclusive environment.You’ll represent our business with warmth and clarity, helping to foster relationships and respond to enquiries with enthusiasm—explaining who we are, what we do, and how we can help.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to new business enquiries, inbound sales calls and emails in a friendly, engaging manner
- Qualify leads and assess fit; foster the relationship where appropriate
- Share our portfolio, discuss minimum fees, and set up meetings with Suzy or Henry
- Attend new business meetings; sometimes taking notes, other times leading
- Preparing scope and fee proposals using our templates (with Creative or Design Director input)
- Email and explain proposals to clients, walking them through these if needed
- Liaise with suppliers and collaborators (e.g. web developers to quote website development projects), incorporating their input into proposals
- Organise meetings and assist with client onboarding tasks
- Provide clear guidance on timing, inclusions, exclusions, fees, and process to new clients
- Support admin/email needs such as forwarding invoices, chasing payments, or booking meetings
- Represent our team’s tone and values in all communication and business development
- Use Figma, Keynote, Acrobat and other tools to manage proposals and workflow (training provided if necessary)
- Share general studio tasks (e.g. ordering supplies, tidying up)

- You’re a naturally upbeat, thoughtful person who loves getting things done.
- You can zoom out to see the big picture, but you’re equally comfortable in the details.
- You’re a strong relationship-builder who can quickly understand client needs and guide them through our services, meetings, proposals, and onboarding.
- You prepare accurate and articulate proposals with care, and you enjoy checking things off a list.
- You’re flexible and helpful—pitching in when we’re busy, and using initiative when things are quieter.
- You communicate clearly and craft considered emails or written explanations with ease.
- You’re happy to learn the ins and outs of our service offering and explain it to prospective clients.
- You’re equally confident handling phone and email enquiries, running meetings independently, and collaborating closely with our team.
- You’re a quick learner when it comes to new systems, resourceful when troubleshooting, and always willing to help share the load.
