Role Description
Brik Market is seeking a creative and dynamic Content Creator and Social Media Coordinator looking for eight to 16 hours of work a week to join our team and help us amplify our brand’s voice and connect with our audience across various digital platforms.
This Content Creator and Social Media Coordinator role will be responsible for developing, curating, and managing engaging content across our social media channels and other digital platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with social media management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyse performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
- Craft compelling copy for posts, ads, and campaigns that aligns with our brand’s voice and objectives.
- Manage and schedule posts across all social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and incorporate them into our strategy.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and execute social media strategies and content calendars that align with our marketing goals.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare regular reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather insights and information for content creation.
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, promotions, and special events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Coordinator, or similar role
- Strong portfolio of social media content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with paid social media advertising.
