Role Description
Adore Beauty is looking for an experienced and passionate Content Manager to step in and lead our content strategy for the next 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to caretake a well-established, high-performing content function while bringing fresh ideas and creative energy to continue driving audience engagement and brand storytelling.
Working closely with a talented team, you will oversee the creation and execution of content across editorial, social media, podcasts and brand partnerships. This is a role that requires both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, ensuring continuity in brand storytelling while identifying opportunities for growth and engagement. This role is about maintaining momentum and ensuring a seamless transition, keeping Adore Beauty’s content compelling, relevant and impactful.
You are a seasoned content leader with a strong ability to craft compelling stories that engage and grow an audience. You are a collaborative and supportive leader who thrives in a creative team environment, bringing both strategic vision and hands-on guidance to those around you.
Highly organised and adaptable, you can confidently step into a fast-moving role and ensure everything runs smoothly. Comfortable in front of the camera and skilled in video and social-first content creation, you understand how to create content that resonates. You balance creativity with commercial objectives, using data and insights to drive informed decision-making and optimise content performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and evolving a well-established content strategy that reinforces Adore Beauty’s brand values
- Leading a talented team of content creators, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality output
- Delivering engaging, on-brand content across editorial, social, video and partnerships that drive audience connection
- Collaborating with marketing and commercial teams to align content with key campaigns and initiatives
- Managing influencer collaborations and brand partnerships to enhance reach and impact
- Overseeing content performance and optimisation using insights and data to refine strategy
KEY SKILLS
- At least five years of leadership experience in content marketing, social media or editorial, with a proven ability to shape and execute content strategies while inspiring, mentoring and developing a high-performing team
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- A creative and strategic mindset, balancing innovative storytelling with commercial objectives to drive audience engagement and brand growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage content partnerships effectively
- A deep understanding of audience behaviour, content performance analytics and emerging trends to continuously refine and optimise content strategy
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to pull insights from multiple data sources
