Role Description

This position offers a career path for someone looking to enter the jewellery industry working alongside the founder while providing our customers with exceptional service. Experience in eComm customer service is required, and an understanding of the jewellery or accessories industry is highly regarded.

  • Get a foot into the jewellery industry with full training provided.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for someone (with proven customer service experience) who wants the freedom to strategise collaboratively but work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service – via email, phone, and click and collect orders
  • Processing eComm orders from start to finish in Shopify, Seller Centre and StarShipit
  • Receiving, checking and managing all incoming orders and customer returns, including bulk production orders from our maker
  • Inventory Management across all channels; Shopify, Seller Centre, Wolf & Badger, and starting in August, Madewell (USA) and Plain Tiger (UAE).
  • Consolidating stock where possible to ensure we maximise every opportunity for sales across all channels.
  • Monthly Stocktake for all channels, including marketing materials and packaging
  • Quality Assurance – checking all bulk production orders arriving from our maker
  • Putting forward recommendations to improve financial performance & maximise sales
  • Appropriate filing and forwarding of incoming emails
  • Ad hoc duties as required

About you

  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience (ecomm and/or jewellery highly regarded)
  • A natural, clear communicator
  • AN IDEAS PERSON! A professional brainstormer and problem solver
  • Someone that lives and breathes our values in real life. If you don’t like change, you’re not into talking about feelings or working in a close-knit, inclusive team, this is not the role for you
  • An adaptable and lateral fast thinker, who is fun, organised and can work to deadlines
  • A highly flexible individual that can adapt to the dynamic and changing nature of eCommerce. Our processes are often fine-tuned to ensure we go the extra mile for our customers
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge and experience using Shopify, MS Office Suite (esp. Excel), Seller Centre, Google Docs
  • An analytical eye and incredible attention to detail (but also know how to balance this between getting things perfect and getting things done)
  • You have a passion for premium quality product
  • A willingness to learn and grow with the business, and go above and beyond for our customers
