Role Description
GINGER & SMART is seeking a highly motivated customer service and warehousing superstar to join our Sydney head office team!
Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for the customer service and eCommerce distribution on our on-site warehouse. Your roles and responsibilities will be centred around as strong a customer experience for our clientele as possible.
Immediate start preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Your roles will be split as below:
Customer Service
- Be responsible for Customer Service via the phone and email in a pleasant and efficient manner.
- Reply to customer emails and phone messages before the end of the day received.
- Go above and beyond for customers to mirror the instore GINGER & SMART luxury experience.
Fulfilment
- Be responsible for fulfilment of all online orders via every online channel, meeting delivery time targets as set out in KPIs.
- Ensure presentation of packages sent are to the brand’s luxury guidelines
- Continuous follow up and communication with stores in regards to stock transfers for online orders.
- Manage and process all exchanges, credits & refunds through Retail Express & Shopify within 2 days of receipt.
- Track returns and provide monthly report for Ecommerce Team
- Prepare Return Authorisations as required.
- Check online stationery and packaging levels and ensure that reorder requests are provided to the Accounts Manager in good time to ensure no periods of downtime.
Inventory/Store Support
- Be the point of contact for stores for ad hoc customer courier requests
- Be the point of contact for stores for stock queries related to customers & Farfetch orders.
- Assist Dispatch Manager in wholesale & retail dispatch where needed.
- Assist the Dispatch Manager & Planner to ensure there is sufficient online stock at head office before strong online sales periods.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous customer service experience is essential. Preferably in a luxury environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse is required.
- Experience with POS systems (we work with Retail Express so this would be great, but not essential!)
- Experience with Farfetch & David Jones dropship dispatching is a bonus
- Attention to detail is a must.
- An affiliation for technology and ability to use excel effectively for problem solving.
- We are looking for a self-starter who can take initiative and be autonomous.
