The Digital Marketing Specialist – Acquire & Reactivate plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of targeted digital marketing campaigns aimed at driving customer acquisition and reactivating lapsed customers.
Working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager, this role manages campaign setup, monitors performance, and applies data-driven insights to optimise campaign effectiveness. The Specialist works cross-functionally, particularly with the Marketing Operations (Marketing Ops) Team and Product Owners, to ensure campaigns align with strategic objectives and leverage customer data for personalised messaging.
Additionally, this role supports budget tracking, audience targeting, and creative alignment for acquisition -focused digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute acquisition and reactivation campaigns across digital channels, ensuring timely delivery with Marketing Ops. Optimise targeting, creative, and budgets based on performance data.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to leverage CDPs and segmentation tools for personalised targeting. Use customer data to build segments and refine strategies, optimising campaign performance.
- Track key metrics like acquisition, cost-per-acquisition, and engagement using tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimise performance.
- Ensure campaign creative aligns with brand standards and acquisition goals. Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to unify customer journeys and coordinate with publishers like Meta and Google for campaign implementation.
- Track and manage budgets for acquisition campaigns, ensuring alignment with goals. Coordinate with vendors and agencies to monitor spend and adjust based on performance to maximise ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine creative, messaging, and targeting, using insights to optimise acquisition and reactivation campaigns.
KEY SKILLS
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with expertise in upper to mid-funnel strategies for brand awareness, audience engagement, and multi-channel digital campaigns.
- Proven track record of managing a multi-million-dollar budget and optimising spend across channels to achieve strategic acquisition and reactivation objectives.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on KPIs for acquisition and reactivation campaigns, focusing on metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement rates, loyalty sign-ups, and acquisition to evaluate effectiveness.
- Expertise in marketing technology tools, including analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and CDPs (Tealium etc.)
- Strong ability to analyse marketing data, generate insights, and create performance dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Well-developed stakeholder relationship management, and collaboration competencies – across all levels of the organisation.
