Role Description

We are looking for a talented eCommerce Manager to be the champion of our online store. As the eCommerce Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing a seamless experience to our consumer, consistently looking for the opportunity to exceed sales targets and deliver an on-brand user experience. You’ll own, create and deliver initiatives to increase conversion and consumer engagement across our Australian and New Zealand websites.

You have a love of fashion and a natural talent for digital visual merchandising. You know analytics like the back of your hand – you’re results focussed and love nothing more than seeing an increase to your stores KPIs. You’re (ideally!) a Shopify Plus and data guru; you know how to drive success and you make things happen. You know all the pieces that make a successful online store and prioritise your hours, days and weeks according to the data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pioneer and create opportunities for growth on your eCommerce store
  • Implement and utilise effective reporting and analytics to track sales trends, traffic, competitor activity, campaign performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop and implement an online merchandising strategy and content plan in line with the Marketing Calendar
  • Manage the weekly EDM sends and trigger based email campaigns.
  • Consistently look for opportunities to optimise the delivery of online content, merchandising, product availability, website functionality and user experience
  • Own the look, feel and functionality of ELK online, ensuring you are proactive in recommending, planning, and bringing about improvements that deliver return on investment and enhance our brand image
  • Own all on-site marketing initiatives and activities
  • Actively participate in internal weekly sales meetings and produce all key online reports to help inform opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate closely with the broader marketing team, and take the lead in coordination of work flows to ensure consistent high quality delivery of our online marketing calendar inclusive of product updates, EDM distribution, and digital developments
  • Be a vital part of the wider marketing team and contribute to ideas, projects and campaign

 

KEY SKILLS

  • At least 3+ years experience in a B2C eCommerce role within a retail, fashion or beauty environment
  • Advanced excel skills and experience working across different platforms and databases
  • Experience managing and maintaining SEO, Paid Search, Re-marketing and Affiliate Marketing activities.
  • The ability to prioritise quickly and implement solutions based on sales drivers
  • A strong understanding of eCommerce metrics, including Google Analytics and SEO / SEM
  • A good understanding of web design and UX, and the ability to use data driven insights to direct improvements
  • A commercial mindset with strong technical and analytical abilities
  • Proven ability to drive sales and conversion to a fashion retail site
  • Previous experience with Shopify Plus, experience writing front end HTML and graphic design skills (Adobe / Sketch) an advantage
