Role Description

At Witchery, we empower women to look and feel confident every day through an elevated and seamless shopping experience. The Witchery website is one of the most important platforms through which we provide this to our customers as part of our omni channel strategy.

The role of the eCommerce Specialist is to deliver the best possible online shopping experience to our customers though ensuring first class website functionality and digital operation infrastructure, delivering an engaging web content strategy that drives commercial outcomes, merchandising of ecommerce product inventory, and implementation of UX principles and CRO/web testing strategies.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Witchery Marketplace operations including facilitating the transfer of all new product information, imagery, and meta data, as well as managing merchandising & promotions, order fulfilment issues, reporting, and marketing opportunities through this channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end website content management including weekly homepage updates, campaign page development, informational page builds, general website look and feel, and other on-site content, delivered in line with broader marketing initiatives to drive conversion and sales
  • Maintenance and enhancement of product inventory through product copy development, product asset management and uploads, and on-site merchandising to ensure that product and content is accurately represented and strategically optimised
  • Manage the execution all on-site aspects of sales and promotions
  • Work with the SEO lead to implement Search Engine Optimisation best practice in all content and identify new areas of content development
  • Work with the group Analytics/Customer Insights team to build a measurement framework across the website that delivers actionable insight on website performance
  • Management of the CRO and web testing program for the Witchery brand – working with internal/external developers and supporting agencies
  • Lead the Witchery brand platform development strategy by working with CRG Digital/IT teams and external development partners to deploy new enhancements and fixes to the website that improve online customer experience
  • Conduct weekly audits of the site to ensure all available product is live, current and accurate
  • Continuously seek improvement of the systems and processes used by the Witchery digital team to streamline the management of all aspects of website content and product inventory
  • Manage and execute the day-to day delivery of the eCommerce trading processes
  • Support the Retail Operations and Omni Fulfilment Centre teams to ensure orders are fulfilled, dispatched and returned in line with customer expectations
  • Working with the Planning and Omni Fulfilment Centre teams to provide accurate forecasting on customer orders
  • Manage and execute the transfer and upload of all new product data and digital assets to 3rd party marketplace websites
  • Monitor Witchery merchandising on marketplace websites and identify opportunities for improved exposure

 

KEY SKILLS

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry
  • Extensive experience in website content management systems
  • Experience managing and implementing a website content calendar
  • Strong Google Analytics tracking and data reporting insights skills
  • Google Tag Manager experience is an advantage
  • An understanding of web store operations and retail trading
  • Experience of ecommerce product and digital asset management
  • Strong numeracy, digital analytics and reporting data analysis skills
  • Experience and understanding of SEO best practices and implementation
  • Willingness to learn, display initiative and take on new responsibilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
