WHAT’S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?
As the Social Media & Influencer Specialist, you’ll manage the development, planning and execution of our social media and influencer strategy. Ultimately, you’re a people person when it comes to increasing brand awareness and know how to engage audiences across a range of social platforms. Best of all, you are data-driven, so you’ll know the key metrics when reporting on the effectiveness of your campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Management
- Own and grow our organic social channels (Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Pinterest), from managing the social content calendar through to implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
- Build and nurture relationships by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and fostering meaningful conversations, as well as resharing stories, and collecting UGC to be re-purposed for paid channels.
- Track, analyse and report on social media performance to provide insights that continue to optimise content.
Content Creation
- Be the face of the brand on socials by creating social-first content end-to-end; including and not limited to, concepting, storyboarding, shooting, editing and posting schedule.
- Stay across emerging trends, platforms and best practices in social media to identify new opportunities to create on-brand and relevant content. Act as an internal expert on what’s new and what’s next in the social space.
- Collaborate with a team of content creators, video editors, and designers to develop ad concepts and scripts to use across both organic and paid channels.
Influencer
- Manage the day-to-day operations of influencers including researching, evaluating and onboarding new partners to the brand.
- Own all communication with influencers, including closing end-to-end collaborations, from creative briefing, product gifting to content approval.
- Coordinate sponsored collaborations and generate UGC to enhance the brand awareness.
- Monitor, analyse and optimise influencer performance.
WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE:
- A minimum of 2-years FT experience as a social media specialist or a a portfolio or social links that shows us what you can do.
- Influencer management experience for a similar retail industry.
- You are a wiz at shooting on camera, and video editing—you can turn a video around faster than anyone you know.
- Can use Canva or Figma to bring your vision board to life.
- Loves data and has great analytical skills to determine social media achieves objectives.
- The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, whilst staying cool under pressure.
- Excellent self-motivation and can go beyond the call of duty.
- A keen eye for detail.
