Role Description

This role will work closely with the Marketing Team by supporting the Events Manager with administrative support and event coordination, whilst working within the Global and Regional marketing strategies and direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with large variety of Chanel approved suppliers, contractors and vendors to obtain quotes, set up new accounts and manage the payment process.
  • Assist in updating and tracking the events budgets, retroplanning documents, and calendars under the direction of the Events Manager.
  • Assist Events Manager with the creation of event guidelines, event briefs, proposals and related collateral. Liaise with retail, VM, training/style ex, Communications and other relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Provide on-ground support for all events including outside of usual business hours to cover event production. Activities will vary depending of the nature of the event.
  • Stay updated on trends and developments in relation to events/restaurants/cultural activities and provide regular competitor analysis updates to the marketing team.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Fashion Marketing Team.
  • Flexibility to travel and work interstate for extended periods when required is essential for this role.

 

KEY SKILLS

  • A tertiary qualification preferably in Marketing or a related discipline with at least 2 year’s experience in event and/or project support roles.
  • Experience in the execution of logistically complex events involving a high level of interactions with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exposure and interest in luxury brands/Arts and culture.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask across competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external suppliers, contractors and production companies in addition to internal stakeholders.
  • Highly competent in following strict brand guidelines and briefing/educating external suppliers.
  • Detail-minded, with constant innovation and work dynamic.
  • Good written and oral communication skills and team oriented.
