Role Description

This role will be a part of our company’s Senior Management Team and will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of projects and initiatives to accomplish our company’s sales, marketing and revenue objectives.

With this challenging role, you will be tasked with leveraging our existing product offering, market position and customer base to become a market leader in the Australian fashion and apparel market, thereby helping us advance our mission to accelerate the transition to a more circular and sustainable fashion system.

You will bring a deep level of experience to the way our organisation views its various customer acquisition and revenue channels and oversee a cohesive strategy to build on the market foothold already established to rocket our company into its next phase of game-changing growth.

You will bring a sophisticated level of understanding of the relationship between the drivers of Cost of Acquisition and Customer Lifetime Value and how to optimise these sustainably over time via commercial projects and initiatives that run at different speeds, require fluctuating resources and alignment from various stakeholders. You will be a ‘steady hand’ over all of this while being one of our company’s driving forces towards our Vision to build every Australian woman’s Endless Online Wardrobe.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role has three core components: first, to define the company’s demand generation plan, second, to coordinate and execute growth programs, and third, to optimise our revenue funnel.
  • Accountable for customer acquisition and retention and the business achieving its revenue targets.
  • Lead, scale and manage an exceptional team of marketers with specialisations across SEO, Performance Marketing, Social Media, Lifecycle and Content Marketing, as well as Lead Generation, PR/Comms and Partnerships specialisations while positioning them to achieve their professional development goals.
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of our Sales & Marketing budgets, making calibrations where necessary to optimise commercial outcomes.
  • Responsible for the performance and expansion of our existing sales channels and drive development of new revenue channels and incremental demand generation.
  • Design and implement a multi-channel growth strategy which is in close alignment with the customer calendar and seasonal opportunities.
  • Delivering value for our customers is at the heart of this role and so applying a customer-centric focus to all aspects and activities will be critical to success.
  • Own our SEO strategy and be a driving force in the creation and prioritisation of the SEO roadmap with our organisation and work closely with product managers, engineers, designers and data analysts to drive SEO projects from planning to execution followed by post-implementation analysis and reporting.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and algorithm updates to inform SEO strategies and tactics, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Have hands-on experience with SEO, Performance Marketing and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mode, DOMO, Power BI, Looker, Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screamingfrog, Web.Dev.
  • Have a sound understanding of Performance Marketing channels including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Commission Factory and others in order to maintain and build on our existing performance marketing (PPC) channels within strict ROI and profitability parameters.
  • Own our brand building initiatives and drive meaningful improvements in how we reach and build a relationship with our target audience in a meaningful and long-lasting way.
  • Understand and implement tailored communication flows to our various customer segments as well as formulate and champion the strategy to lead our Customer Lifecycle Marketing initiatives in order to drive meaningful improvements in Customer Retention and LTV.
  • Be the liaison between our Sales & Marketing team and the rest of the business in order to ensure all departments are working in consensus with shared objectives and common goals.
  • You will be data-driven and hands on with a strong attention to detail and experience across both traditional and digital advertising platforms as well as innovative, resourceful ‘growth hacking’ strategies.

 

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I HAVE?

  • Strong eCommerce background with 5-10 years’ experience in a leadership role driving and implementing revenue growth. Additional experience in women’s apparel retailing is a plus but not a prerequisite.
  • Proven track record of delivery in a digital sales retail environment. Experience scaling teams and businesses, especially when it comes to sales enablement and operations, analytics, effective recruitment and team development.
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for developing team members and embodying our leadership competencies.
  • Very adept at partnering with key internal stakeholders including product, merchandising and technology to bring our customer offerings to market
  • Customer service and account management experience. Experience in B2B Sales functions are a plus.
  • Solid experience identifying, negotiating and developing strategic partnerships and large commercial deals to accelerate commercial growth. High level of empathy (for employees and customers). Constructive, positive and growth mindset in embracing challenges.
