About the role: As our Junior Print & Design Assistant, you’ll play an integral role in bringing KIVARI’s collections to life. From the initial stages of print and textile creation to the coordination of development, this role offers a perfect blend of creativity, technical skill, and organisational support.
Working closely with our Head Designer and Senior Print Designer, you’ll help ensure the seamless execution of our distinctive prints that embody the heart of our brand. It’s an exciting opportunity to grow within a passionate, collaborative team and contribute to the creation of collections that empower our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Print Designer and Head Designer in developing original, hand-drawn and digital prints across four seasonal ranges
- Translate seasonal themes and trend insights into commercial, print-ready artworks
- Prepare artworks in repeat and colourways for production, ensuring alignment with garment use
- Conduct research using WGSN, Vogue.com, and competitive analysis to inform print development
- Assist with sketching, flat technical drawings, and mock-ups using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Maintain fabric and trim libraries and update style information in Style Arcade
- Liaise with suppliers on fabric/trim approvals and maintain accurate documentation in tech packs
- Organise samples and prepare boards for range reviews, fittings, and presentations
- Support in maintaining print and design tracking documents
- Ensure all sample and strike off timelines are met in alignment with the Critical Path
KEY SKILLS
- Drawing and painting ability (manual and digital)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with garment construction and textile processes
- Experience with Style Arcade (preferred but not essential)
- Creative, trend-aware, and passionate about fashion and design
- A collaborative and respectful team player who is detail-oriented and solutions-focused
- Keen to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive design environment
