With the evolution of Learning and Development needs, the L&D Manager is the lead actor in supporting the Learning and Development Team within the Fashion Division to manage changes in mindset, organization as well as learning delivery and programs. Working closely with the Retail Operations team the L&D Manager will orchestrate learning paths and deliver education initiatives for developing the retail teams, reinforcing the CHANEL differences, driving results and maintaining the vision of being the ultimate house of luxury defining style and creating desire now and forever.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to engage and develop talent in the Boutique inspiring and mapping talent.
  • Lead the prioritization process of learning needs in Fashion division and ensure alignment with global, regional and local business needs.
  • Support retail to establish the right boutique organization and define boutique roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide the “retail people viewpoint” to stakeholders to ensure that projects, policies and processes will succeed when executed in the boutiques.
  • Provide prompt feedback and learning for iterations, adjustments and adaptation where needed.
  • Design, deliver and evaluate in-house learning and development solutions utilizing different digital platforms: Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Zoom/Teams and innovative resources.

 

KEY SKILLS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Training or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years’ work experience in training and group animation, coupled with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail.
  • Experience in People Development for Retail / Boutique staff and knowledge in Organizational behavior and design will be advantageous.
  • Technologically savvy and possess digital trend awareness.
  • Open-minded, adaptable and able to exercise flexibility.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
