We are currently recruiting a Makeup Artist for our new Boutique in Sydney’s T2 Domestic Airport. The Makeup Artist creates a unique and memorable experience for each client at every moment and at every point of sale. Combining a commercial mindset with a passion for the client and the product, the Makeup Artist contributes to the brand’s image and helps fulfil the Chanel Client relational promise.
As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for driving sales and growth by creating memorable client experiences. You will ensure that the point of sale meets Chanel standards in every aspect, from client service to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain curiosity and proactivity in self-learning to enhance your career and the learning culture of the business.
- Surpass client expectations by creating personalized experiences using the Chanel experience ritual.
- Share beauty and makeup tips to educate and inspire clients.
- Proactively recruit and retain clients to help build a diverse client base for the business
- Manage stock at the point of sale, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policy.
KEY SKILLS
- Qualifications in Makeup as a Makeup Specialist/Artist along with several years of experience working one on one with clients.
- Customer Service experience preferability from a fast-paced boutique or department store environment.
- Excellent knowledge of current Makeup trends and the ability to share your knowledge with clients and your team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish emotional connections with clients.
- The ability to work across a roster that supports the boutique trading hours within the airport retail environment.
