Role Description
e.g.etal is a Melbourne gallery representing the best in innovative, independent Australian jewellery design. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join us. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for implementing promotions and campaigns, managing web content, co-ordinating photo shoots, and driving engagement through social media, EDMs, website and events.
ABOUT YOU
- You have a passion for art and independent design, with a keen creative eye that will help you maintain e.g.etal’s high visual standards.
- You use your photography, video, photoshop, InDesign, and copywriting skills regularly to produce engaging and on-brand content.
- You develop great rapport with suppliers, vendors and a network of creative contacts. You’re skilled at creating briefs and managing projects to completion.
- You’re full of ideas, always looking for opportunities to reach new audiences
- You’re motivated by targets and can identify innovative ways to meet your objectives.
- You keep up to date with digital marketing trends and strategies
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience in a similar marketing or e-commerce role
- Experience in the arts or creative industries is highly desirable
- Intermediate InDesign & photoshop skills
- Experience creating content for social media and growing engagement
- Experience using WordPress, Woocommerce or similar
- Experience using Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp or similar
- Experience managing print production including packaging, signage and collateral
- Understanding of basic SEO principles and e-commerce best practice
- Experience managing successful organic and paid social campaigns
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage and update all website content, keeping the home page and online store fresh and accurate.
- Research and write blog posts, education articles and artist interviews.
- Edit / create product and campaign images.
- Upload products to e.g.etal’s online store, adhering to SEO best practice.
- Manage online inventory, including monthly stocktakes.
- Monitor and drive website traffic and eCommerce sales to attain monthly targets.
- Develop and distribute monthly consumer email newsletter (EDM).
- Manage and grow the e.g.etal consumer email database.
- Create and implement paid digital advertising campaigns.
- As required: assist with processing online sales and provide customer service for online clients during busy periods.
- Develop and implement a social media strategy that supports revenue and communication goals
- Create and publish daily social media content
- Develop and implement strategies to increase reach, followers and engagement
- Manage e.g.etal’s visual identity including maintenance of print and digital files, inventory records and forecasting
- Develop, design, brief and manage production of marketing collateral, signage, packaging, artist statements and exhibition price lists.
- Organise and manage product photography and instagram shoots.
- Adhere to, and maintain, the e.g.etal brand guide.
implement strategic marketing campaigns at key points of the year with clear objectives and tactics. - Execute and run exhibitions and events.
- Respond to media enquiries and opportunities.
- Proactively develop marketing skills and knowledge.
- Accurately track and report on marketing KPIs
