Online Content Executive at Camilla & Marc, you will manage the product and content lifecycle workflow from Ecom shoot creation through to SEO copywriting, publishing/activation, measurement, merchandising and maintenance.

You will oversee all category, navigation and on-site search strategies based on product availability, marketing support, product & consumer trends, and analytics. Monitoring daily to optimise experience across all localised sites.

You will manage the on-site product content and creative needs from strategy to implementation, partnering with Planning, Production, Creative and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on budget and sales targets, campaign and product launch deadlines as well as local country requirements.

You have a passion for analytics and will become well versed in our content management and reporting systems and its merchandising ability and potential; able to mine for new merchandising opportunities using AI functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Ecom Photography management process from assisting on Brand Shoots and managing the Ecom Photography and Ghost Product Shoots, pre-production, retouching processes and approvals.
  • Manage the Ecom Sample process including securing the proper samples and shippers for shoots and reshoots.
  • Manage 3rd party and in-house photography studio for Ecom on-model; still life and ghost imagery.
  • Work cross-functionally with Production, Creative, Planning and Sales relating to merchandising to ensure optimal products are featured and promoted on the site.
  • Write all product descriptions and work with design to ensure all features and benefits are communicated on product pages including sizing and fabrication details.
  • Work with Creative and Brand team to ensure the correct imagery and styling is created to meet these demands and decisions are collaborative and analytically driven.
  • Ensure all product content is available and optimised online for campaign deadlines.
  • Ensure essential and evergreen brand content is kept up to date and fresh, taking responsibility for any content updates and reshoots.
  • Proactively work to improve all organic search KPIs, increasing ROI and driving incremental qualified traffic and revenue across all Ecom sites
  • Conduct ongoing local market keyword research, discovery, and optimisation to help guide content creation and optimisation strategies. Track and monitor the impact of content performance.
  • Identify and fix technical SEO issues, including architecture, crawlability and indexability, broken links, etc.
  • Optimise image naming, title tags, meta descriptions, headings, canonical tags, hreflang tags, structured data markup, internal linking, and URL structure.
  • Utilize industry leading tools to streamline your research and strategy, example SEMRush, Search Console and Google Analytics.
  • Work cross-functionally with Production, Creative, Planning and Sales relating to merchandising to ensure optimal products are featured and promoted on the site.
  • Perform online sales analyses to feedback to the planning and buying teams to foresee merchandising risk and opportunities as well as communicate customer feedback, onsite trends, wishlist results, returns reasons and inform on inventory decisions such as restocks and consoles.
  • Upload and enrich all product and category content via our Merchandising and Search CMS tools
  • Optimise and identify merchandising opportunities for conversion and improving key metrics including but not limited to: Time On Site, Add To bag and Cart Abandonment
  • Oversee category navigation and on-site search strategies based on product availability, marketing support, product/consumer trends, and analytics, monitoring daily to optimise experience across platforms and merchandise overexposed, underexposed or trending items.
  • Perform daily and weekly maintenance and merchandising updates on-site to ensure accuracy and consistency, with an understanding of its impact on the overall customer experience.

 

KEY SKILLS

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Prior experience with Ecom production, content management and digital merchandising
  • Experience using SEO and Analytics Reporting Tools
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar photo editing tools
  • Be solution oriented, have a point of view and offer recommendations for how to achieve the goals and strategies outlined by Senior Management
  • Proactive, pragmatic, commercial and analytical mindset
  • Strong ability to work to briefs and deadlines and establish own work priorities to manage multiple projects
  • Be an excellent communicator and relationship builder: you will regularly partner cross-functionality, and will need to influence and drive commercial results and KPI’s.
  • Have a Positive, collaborative, can-do attitude
  • Have a natural passion fashion, design and analytics
