Electric Collective

PR Account Coordinator

company: Electric Collective
job title: PR Account Coordinator
location: Sydney CBD
work type: Full-time
level: Junior

Role Description

Electric Collective seek an ambitious, committed graduate or entry level candidate for a full-time PR Account Coordinator role with an immediate start.

Electric Collective represent a covetable roster of clients within fashion, beauty, hospitality, travel, music, people+planet, arts and entertainment. The team has recently relocated into a beautiful office in the heart of Sydney’s leafy Surry Hills and are looking for someone with energy and ambition to fill a full-time Account Coordinator role, supporting our professional and colourful team with plenty of room to grow and be promoted within our rapidly growing agency.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is looking to start their career in PR. It requires competency using Apple OS, and being comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint). Essential for success in this role is being organised, able to keep to deadlines with strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently with strong written and verbal skills.

The ideal candidate must take pride in their work and ideally have prior experience in an agency environment. You should be as obsessed with pop culture, music, food, fashion, the arts and nightlife as we are. You should be eager to share ideas whilst learning from those around you. We’re a close knit team that encourage and support each other with plenty of opportunities for mentoring, so this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who knows what they want and is ready to roll their sleeves up and get their hands dirty!

The successful applicant will be responsible for heading up the agency’s virtual showrooming, assets and imagery, and sample movement. Tasks include maintaining inventory of imagery assets and samples, ensuring virtual libraries and showroom are up to date and maintained, preparation and distribution of trend edits and responding to media and stylist briefs, liaising with clients and media/stylists providing friendly, accurate and timely service, working with the account teams to ensure delivery on client KPIs, as well as ad hoc planning and execution of events, influencer engagement programs, gifting suites and media relations programs.

As an integral part of the agency structure, this role requires someone who is creative yet meticulously detailed, outgoing, has a positive attitude and loves working collaboratively with a team. We are a diverse and inclusive team who are passionate about equal rights and protecting our planet and seek candidates who share these values.
