Role Description
Boody is looking for a new Production Coordinator to join our growing Product team!
At Boody, our new Production Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the production process, ensuring our manufacturing partners meet production timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements. This role will work closely with suppliers, the Product team, and other internal stakeholders to track production milestones, manage approvals, and resolve any issues that may impact production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Production planning and coordination
- Support the Global Supply Chain Manager in managing the critical path and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with global manufacturers to track production progress and proactively address any delays.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure all production requirements (materials, approvals, specifications) are signed off before production begins
- Product SKU creation & administration of product information management
- Packaging manual and packaging index management
- Administration of production testing & compliance
Factory relationship management
- Act as the primary point of contact for factories on day-to-day production matters.
- Track production milestones and flag any risks or deviations from the planned schedule.
- Support in resolving production-related issues such as material shortages, quality concerns, and capacity constraints.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate concerns to the Global Supply Chain Manager.
- Ensure that factories adhere to Boody’s quality standards, sustainability commitments, and ethical sourcing policies.
Process improvement and reporting
- Maintain up-to-date production tracking reports and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in the production process.
- Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to production coordination.
- Ad-hoc reporting, where required.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in production coordination, supply chain, or apparel manufacturing is desirable, but not essential.
- A basic understanding of production timelines, supplier management, and apparel manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with global suppliers.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and production tracking tools.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in addressing production challenges.
- Passion for sustainability and ethical production practices.
