As a Retail Media Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving brand-funded media revenue and building strong, strategic partnerships with some of the world’s leading beauty brands. You will take the lead in crafting and executing data-driven, content-led media campaigns, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure every campaign delivers maximum impact.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that blends creativity with commercial strategy. You’ll work on everything from developing media plans and managing campaign execution to tracking performance and delivering insights that optimise future campaigns. It’s an opportunity to take ownership, build relationships, and drive measurable success in a business that’s continuously evolving.You might even create some of the content yourself!
You are a proactive and commercially minded marketing professional with experience in retail media, trade marketing, digital advertising, or brand marketing. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can build strong relationships with brand partners, create compelling media solutions, and track their performance to continuously improve results.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, you are confident in managing multiple projects at once and enjoy collaborating with different teams to bring campaigns to life. You have a strategic mindset, an eye for identifying opportunities, and the ability to turn insights into action.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute retail media strategies to meet revenue goals
- Build strong relationships with brand partners to secure new advertising opportunities
- Collaborate with content and creative teams to develop engaging media plans and assets
- Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations
- Manage budgets, invoices, and financial reporting for media activities
- Identify industry trends and opportunities to drive further growth
KEY SKILLS
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience in a similar marketing role within a retail environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills – ability to engage brand partners, pitch media opportunities, and secure advertising revenue.
- A data-driven approach – ability to track campaign performance, analyse key metrics, and optimise results.
- Project management expertise – experience managing multiple campaigns from strategy to execution, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines.
- Creativity with commercial acumen – ability to balance engaging content with business objectives to deliver high-impact advertising solutions.
- Financial literacy – experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and reconciling media revenue effectively.
