Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Longina Phillips Designs!
This is a full-time role based in our creative studio in Sydney that involves traveling interstate and overseas and to international trade shows.
We’re looking to expand as we continue with our mission of creating innovative, trend-setting designs for leading global brands.
We’re on the search for a passionate, driven, and self-motivated Sales Executive to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who has worked in retail sales and is keen for that first step into the fashion and textiles design world.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and Director, this opportunity will work closely with the design team with some involvement with other areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Accountabilities:
- International and domestic sales – organise regular sales trips appointments
- Attending and helping to organise international trade shows
- New Business Development using EDMs, LinkedIn, Instagram and cold calling
- Managing online sales – organising selection links for customers
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new customers
- Meeting sales targets
- Building up relationships with clients
- Keeping up with current trends and understanding our interpretation of trends in order to feed this back to customers
Duties Performed:
- Organising and attending sales trips domestically and internationally
- Inputting and processing sales – making sure data is entered accurately and immediately at all times
- Sending customer selections as requested
- Sending selection links regularly with new designs selections for regular customers
- Communicating closely with the creative team in regard to sales updates and customer feedback
- Taking customer briefs
- Making appointments and following up with customers regularly
- Maintaining the showroom is presentable and tidy at all times
