Role Description

To lead and accelerate Digital Partner Commerce and offline sales in the Fashion channel in Australia. Ambition is to drive online faster than offline and grow market share, ability to lead and direct these initiatives at the senior level is required. The role is pivotal in executing our road to premium through our originals business, and growing our market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire direct reports to drive growth and market share.
  • Net sales, and margin for the Fashion channel, focus on accelerating online sales
  • Lead a specific strategy and execution of growing digital, engaging at all levels.
  • Managing senior decision-making contacts within Fashion Accounts, to accelerate adidas led initiatives
  • Drive digital growth fastest in Originals led via Women’s first.
  • Engagement and team culture of the team in collaboration with other senior peers in the channel.
  • Inventory management, via contract management
  • Cost center budget and sales working budget.
  • Fashion Specialty Accounts are managed by a 3rd Party – Led the relationship with True East and ownership of the Budgets, but execution sits with the distributor.
  • To develop the overall strategy for Fashion based on global and Market strategies jointly with the Sales Director and get sign off by the General Manager.
  • Lead a specific strategy and execution of growing digital, engaging at all levels of Fashion.
  • To ensure the customer is applying available adidas Group standards and best practices in daily work.
  • To review, challenge and sign off the Strategic Account Plans and Account Marketing Plans proposed by the KAMs.
  • To support negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms.
  • To establish an appropriate organizational framework for the KAM organisation jointly with the Sales Director in line with the Global organizational blueprint.
  • Constantly determining the distribution and assortment decisions that lead to the strategic success of the brand, in collaboration with the Category team.
  • Led the relationship with our Fashion Speciality distributors, who manage and service the Fashion Speciality accounts in Australia. Strong communication and collaboration are required to ensure seamless execution in our authenticator channel, in line with adidas brand strategies.
  • Staff most suitable persons indirect report positions in alignment with Dir. Sales and Dir. HR.
  • Set personal objectives, targets, guidelines and assess all reports.
  • Develop the functional and social skills of direct reports on and off the job.
  • Manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets, and guidelines.
  • Ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports along with all interfaces.
  • To measure progress on own KPIs.
  • To report to all superiors, potentially along with MIS guidelines.
  • To monitor all reports.
  • To monitor and report on customers and competitors’ sell-through and activities, and propose/initiate/take actions.
  • To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customers’ performances.
  • Market shares within Rebel.
  • On line sales growth and Share, offline sales growth
  • Sell through.
  • Net sales and Margin.
  • Implementation support for global and market initiatives.
  • Global Fashion Influencer team- Global Channel Management, Sales Development
  • True East distributor
  • Local and regional category team
  • Markets – Account Mktg, Range Management, Assortment Planning, Trade Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service.

 

KEY SKILLS

  • Functional – > 6 years Sales and/or Marketing of which min 4 years in Sales.
  • Industry – Ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG.
  • Leadership – > 4 years’ experience.
  • Exposure – Sports, Marketing, Supply Chain.
  • University degree in business with a marketing and sales focus.
