Myer is looking for a Senior PR Coordinator to drive Myer’s PR and talent strategies across Fashion, Beauty, Home and Kids & Toys. This role focuses on enhancing brand visibility through effective media relations, influencer management and talent coordination for seasonal campaigns, events, key moments and ongoing programs. Your strong passion for the industry, coupled with your excellent communication skills, will enable you to effectively engage with talent and media partners – driving successful PR outcomes. This is a flexible hybrid working model – work from our Docklands Support Office and the comfort of your new home.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, managing press releases and securing coverage for key focus areas, campaigns and events.
- Identify, engage and negotiate with influencers to create impactful partnerships that amplify Myer’s brand and product message. Build relationships, manage budget and oversee the execution of influencer collaborations and track performance metrics.
- Build relationships and coordinate deliverables for Myer Ambassadors and celebrity talent, ensuring successful leverage to drive brand and talent objectives.
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to align PR initiatives and ensure seamless execution across all platforms.
- Ensure smooth execution of PR initiatives by coordinating with internal teams, managing internal approvals, tracking deliverables, budget management and maintaining accurate reporting on all talent and influencer activities.
KEY SKILLS
- 3 years of experience in PR, influencer and talent management, preferably in fashion or retail.
- Ability to secure coverage and cultivate impactful relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Expertise in managing media relations and executing strategic PR initiatives.
- Proven experience in influencer engagement and negotiation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to effectively engage with talent and media partners, driving successful PR campaigns.
