We’re on the lookout for a social media superstar to join the team as a Social Content Coordinator to support in producing dynamic, on-brand content for our global social media channels, helping us connect with and engage our millions of followers worldwide!
Reporting to the Social Content Manager, the Social Content Coordinator will play a key role in producing and executing engaging, brand-aligned content for Bondi Sands’ global social media channels. Focusing on coordinating and managing content production, from in-house shoots to creator-led collaborations, ensuring the delivery of innovative and on-brand content that resonates with the Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, film, and edit high-quality, socially native video and static content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and audience preferences.
- Willing and comfortable to appear in content as needed and translate campaign imagery into social-friendly formats that resonate with Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
- Capture content in-studio and on-location at brand events and shoots, ensuring all material is on-brand and follows creative direction.
- Maintain consistency in the creative execution of video, photo, and static content across multiple social media platforms.
- Action any creative feedback on content deliverables in a timely fashion.
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, internet culture, and platform-specific content strategies to keep the brand relevant and engaging.
- Brainstorm and pitch innovative content ideas under the brand’s strategic pillars, driving engagement and audience growth.
- Present creative concepts and ideas confidently to the wider team, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
- Manage and organise all content-related equipment, including phones, gimbals, lighting, microphones, and other tools, ensuring they are stored, charged, and ready for use.
- Liaise with internal and external teams to streamline the execution of content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with deadlines and goals.
- Write detailed and clear creator briefs for user-generated content (UGC), ensuring creators understand the brand’s objectives and deliverables.
- Liaise with creator and agency partners via email, maintaining a professional and collaborative relationship while working with Social Content Manager to provide guidance and feedback as needed.
KEY SKILLS
- With at least 2 years of experience in marketing (and qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar), with a proven track record of creating content for Gen Z and Millennial audiences and 1 year of hands-on experience in producing, filming, and editing short-form video content for social media, you’re a true social native with a passion for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
- You’re highly proficient in tools like Canva and CapCut and have a solid understanding of graphic design principles. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube – you know exactly what works on each platform and how to make your content stand out!
- You stay on top of the latest trends and internet culture, using your creativity to craft engaging, brand-aligned content that resonates with our audiences.
- You’re a natural storyteller, able to create compelling content plans, shot lists, and scripts. Your communication skills are on point, and you convey ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- You’re highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. You thrive in a collaborative environment, taking feedback constructively and continuously improving your work. Whether you’re behind the camera or in front of it, you bring positive energy, a can-do attitude, and a strong desire to grow in the beauty industry.
