An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing People Department at Aje Collective. Based at the Sydney Head Office and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will see you develop and execute innovative strategies that focus on hiring quality candidates who embrace and share the vision, culture, and company goals. By working closely with the hiring manager, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process across Retail and Head Office to gain a deeper understanding of what skillset the ideal talent should possess to provide the best long-term result for the team. You will elevate the recruitment experience year on year through educating and training our hiring managers on best practises and to drive consistency that will allow us to remain at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating long- and short-term innovative strategies to ensure Aje Collectives people and recruitment needs are achieved
  • Managing, updating, and implementing the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Training all hiring managers on the recruitment procedures to ensure the recruitment process is consistent from beginning to end
  • Identifying candidate criteria through arranging and leading all recruitment briefs with the hiring managers and People & Culture Specialist
  • Actively champion diverse and inclusive decision making
  • In collaboration with the People & Culture Specialist, plan the Head Office and Retail roadmaps and progression plans to continuously improve retention and internal opportunities that will entice external talent
  • Communicating updates and constructive feedback to applicants within a timely manner
  • Extending verbal offers and ensure all final details are approved by the hiring managers and COO before sending the employment packs
  • Identifying and recommend salary ranges, incentives, and other pertinent details

 

KEY SKILLS

  • 2+ years demonstrated recruitment experience working in-house for a retail brand or an agency that works with the retail industry
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment is desirable
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional candidate care and quality for all roles across Aje Collective
  • Commitment to champion a diverse and inclusive recruitment process that attracts a broad range of skill sets and personality types
  • The demonstrated ability to use and navigate various online advertising platforms and HRIS
  • Experience managing conflicting priorities and expectations set by the hiring managers
  • High attention to detail that allows you to pick up on nuances within people and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with a variety of internal and external audiences
  • The ability to influence key stakeholders of the business to make the most suitable hiring decision
  • Demonstrated drive to continuously expand industry-specific knowledge
