‘2040’ Bushfire Film Fundraiser

Feb 02

A night out for a cause.

Working to raise money for WIRES wildlife charity and Wildlife Victoria, a conscious group of brands have come together to host a fundraiser movie night. Taking place at Concrete Boots Bar in Richmond, the night will feature a screening of Damon Gameau’s movie 2040.

2040 explores a world in which current solutions to climate change are utilised. We see a glimpse of a future where the world is beginning to regenerate itself, and a host of environmentally friendly practices are being demonstrated.

Money raised from ticket sales will go towards helping wildlife that has been affected by the recent fires. This will assist workers and volunteers who are currently operating with limited resources to help the overwhelming number of injured and displaced animals.

The event aims to not only raise money, but spark a conversation around viable solutions to the climate crisis and promote visits to bushfire-affected communities.
