ASRC Telethon on World Refugee Day

Jun 20

An event with a cause.

This Sunday, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre is once again hosting its annual Telethon from its ‘Home of Hope’ in Footscray, Melbourne.

Now in its 20th year, the ASRC is Australia’s largest independent human rights organisation providing support to more than 7,000 people seeking asylum each year. The telethon is the not-for-profit’s largest fundraising event, raising more than $4.2 million since it was first conceived in 2016. This year, the goal is to raise $1.5 million to provide support for people seeking asylum.

The event will be streamed live from the Home of Hope on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

To donate call 1300 692 772 (1300 MYASRC) or give online here.
