Know My Name: Kee, Jackson, and Delaunay explores the influence of artist Sonia Delaunay (1885–1979) on Australian fashion designers Jenny Kee and Linda Jackson. Delaunay’s bold use of color and geometric forms inspired Kee and Jackson’s own vibrant designs. This exhibition pairs a selection of their archival garments with Delaunay’s prints, drawings, textiles and costumes from the National Gallery’s collection. Know My Name: Kee, Jackson, and Delaunay is part of the National Gallery’s Know My Name initiative, which highlights the contributions of women artists to Australia’s cultural landscape.
