London-based artist Nipa Doshi is the fourth recipient of this year’s Mecca x NGV Women in Design Commission, a major ongoing series honouring world renowned female artists and inviting them to create significant new work for the NGV Collection. To celebrate, audiences are invited to celebrate Nipa’s artistry at a free event where she’ll host a scarf design workshop, an in-conversation talk and a Q&A session. Other program highlights will include a panel discussion on design with industry insiders, DJ sets from Dita and complimentary refreshments from All Espresso and Monforte Viennoiserie.
