Melbourne Fringe Festival: The Feminist Poster Project
Nov 24 -
Dec 05

Bringing feminist messages to the streets of Melbourne.
The 2020 Melbourne Fringe Festival is here and there are tonnes of incredible events to get around.
Take, for instance, The Feminist Poster Project, where you can stroll around the inner-city streets of Melbourne and discover artist Katie Sfetkidis’s hand-drawn posters, each of which celebrates intersectional feminism and social justice movements.
These posters reimagine commercial space, making it a space ripe for political discussion and bringing to life the famous feminist manifesto “feminism for the 99%”.
