MFF: Waste to Wear Workshop
Mar 11

Needle and thread at the ready.
Hew, E-tu and Poet Studio are coming together to host a workshop where participants have the opportunity to make a tote bag from textile waste materials.
The event will be held at Hew’s Brunswick studio, kicking off with a half-hour talk from the designers, followed by sewing tutorials. Participants can venture into making their own tote bag on the day with six machines provided (don’t worry there will be machinists to assist, so no sewing experience is required).
Refreshments and food will be provided, and each participant will receive a take-home pack with all the patterns and sewing instructions for their future sewing projects.
